Mondongo Rocks

The third objective of Bay Breeze LLC is to be able to provide their guests with a 24-hour fishing experience within a group of small mangrove islands Bay Breeze owns nearby the Calusa Lodge called Mondongo Rocks.

Mondongo Rocks is an 80-acre privately owned aquatic preserve and tidal land featuring numerous small mangrove islands, sandbars and saltwater and grass flats that will provide hotel guests with an unusually rich fishing opportunity.

Guests will be ferried to the islands where they will the choice of staying on several upscale houseboats which will be parked among the islands, or within a collection of individual floating suites supplemented by a swimming pool and anchored on a floating barge at the hotel’s Mondongo Station complex.

Mondongo Station features the secluded ruggedness of a floating sanctuary amidst mangrove islet, marine habitats, and wildlife and bird refuge where guests of the Calusa Lodge can arrange extended stays for excellent fishing under starry skies.
